So, what is being tidy for me

Being tidy for me means that everything around me is in its own home and looks pleasing to me when I look at it. It doesn't have to look perfect or to a point that there is not one speck of dirt to be found anywhere, but to where it makes me relax and feel calmer when I look at it. Even if I have so much stuff to do that day it just helps to have a lean bedroom for me to work and study in as it is one less thing to worry about.

Obviously being tidy or neat maybe something different for you because everyone is different in their own ways.

Things to do daily to become a neater person.

Now, there is a difference between having a neat place and being a neat person. Having a neat space means that you have a good looking place for maybe a few days or a few weeks until it all ends up cluttered again then you have to clean up. Being a neat person means that you consistently like to keep a clean space most of the time outside your wardrobe or cupboard and on the inside.

1. Consistency

So the first thing I have to say about becoming a neater person is consistency. Consistency is most definitely key. Don't make being neat a chore that you have to do each day because then it will make it so much more painful and irritating to do each day. Make cleaning up a happy thing to do, and like a time to relax. If you like put some music on to make it feel more fun

2.DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BED UNTIDY IN THE MORNING

I can't exaggerate this enough, don't leave your bed untidy in the morning. Just even tidying your bed up can make your whole room feel so much better than. It also kind of helps you get up in the morning as it looks so good after you have gotten up that you can't bear to mess it up again.

3.Give everything a home

Put everything in its home means that it goes back from the place you got it. Designate a place where the mugs go, where towels are stored, where your stationery is kept, and don't deviate from this system so that you know where everything is and where it goes.

4.Take it step by step

Don't give yourself a hard time by piling everything on at once giving yourself strict orders to do everything, cause that is just overwhelming. Take it to step by step to get used to it until you find you do it naturally. It takes a lot of time and hard work but once you see your house clean you won't be able to ever stand it being messy again as it is almost like it is trained into your blood.

5.Dont let everything pile up

One of the reasons why you probably are untidy is because you let things pile up then don't feel like doing it. For an example, if let the dishes pile up until you get a whole mountain of things to wash up it can be quite time-consuming. However, if you just wash your plate the second you are done with it then it will probably take you a minute to do that right after you finish using it.

6.Make it fun

Like I said with the fist make it fun. Play some music and dance around to it. That alone will make so much of a difference to the thought of you tidying up. It doesn't have to be the bane of your day. Take the moment to enjoy it. Plus if you do it when you are stressed it might make you feel accomplished.

7.Clean up everything at once then keep it tidy

Take a day or two to get your whole house or room tidied up. Then keep it that way or even make it better than you left it.

8.Discard everything you don't need

Sort through the paperwork, stationary, the things you don't love, and need or use often. I would suggest this before you tidy up because you could think that you need something when you really don't need it.
