Compassion is kind of like a momentum that you use to keep going and doing what you are with happiness. If you do something out of your interest or don't like it then you’ll probably distract yourself from it. However, if you are compassionate about something then you will put everything you have into it and try to make it to the best standards.
One of the good impacts on being compassionate is:
Less Stress
You impact the environment around you and when you do something with care and love the people around it will also work in the same way. However, if you work with negativity it causes stress and makes your workplace a gloomy place to come to every day.
How could you show compassion at work or school:
Start with Yourself
When you feel good vibes it impacts the people around you as I mentioned, it also makes a better person to be with when you are happier and show love and kindness to your friends and colleagues.
Encourage others
Verbal motivation is a simple way to show compassion as a few words like ‘that's great’ and ‘keep going’ is all it takes to encourage someone, but you really have to mean it as well.
Be more thoughtful
You need to be careful about what you say to others because if you take something as a joke another could take it very seriously and be hurt. It’s not that easy but if you think about something before you say it that can make a huge difference.
